Meet Tabata
I’m Tabata (Taby) Perron, managing broker and team lead of The Groesbeck Group at Compass in Anacortes, WA. I’ve been in real estate since 2014, and over the years I’ve learned that buying or selling a home is rarely just a transaction. It’s often tied to major life decisions, financial planning, and sometimes emotional transitions. My role is to guide clients through that process with clarity, strategy, and steady communication.
Our primary focus is Skagit County, where we live and work every day, but we also regularly assist clients in North Whidbey and Whatcom County. Many of our clients are relocating to the area or making lifestyle-driven moves, so having a strong understanding of the broader region allows us to provide thoughtful guidance and realistic expectations from the very beginning.
Many of my clients are homeowners who have lived in their homes for decades and want to make thoughtful decisions about what comes next. Whether the goal is downsizing, relocating, or preparing a property for the market, I focus on creating a clear plan that aligns with their timing, priorities, and long-term goals. I believe the smartest moves start with understanding the full picture, not rushing the process.
I began my career as Jean Groesbeck’s assistant, learning the business from the ground up. That foundation shaped how I work today. I pay close attention to details, anticipate challenges before they become problems, and stay actively involved from start to finish. Clients work directly with me, supported by a team of experienced, full-time brokers who share the same commitment to service and professionalism.
Every home has a story, and every client has a reason for making a move. My job is to listen, develop the right strategy, and guide the process so clients feel confident in their decisions and supported every step of the way.
